When we began brainstorming this flea market idea we were really excited about the possible ways that we could hopefully interweave our event with other businesses and events in the area and encourage people to not just come to the markets and leave, but to explore before and after. We are so excited that the established "locals" have embraced us and the summer is already littered with partnerships. Heres a few.. Hopefully everyone will take advantage of some or all!
Bike + Dine brought to you by Park + Vine and Queen City Bike- Leaves from The City Flea and then heads around the city (and across the bridge) to sample some amazing restaurants and end at Neons where...
A Post-Flea Party will be held at The Famous Neons Unplugged. Since we are so confident that the weather is going to be amazing that day we are equally as confident that there will be no place in the city better to enjoy the night than Neons' Patio. Expect some kind of sweet City Flea themed drinks and possibly some antics. Bring your doggies too!
The Cincinnati Fringe Festival brought to you by The Know Theatre of Cincinnati will be in full effect- running from May 31st- June 11th. Stay tuned for the full schedule, but there will definitely be multiple performances to attend in the area on June 4th. Thousands come to the city to enjoy this festival- gets your tickets now!
The Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, a very short stroll from the flea site, will be in the midst of "The Winter Wonderettes" show. Seems like a great way to cool off after a day at the flea! We just saw "25 The Musical" at ETC and loved it. Luckily theres still time to catch that show as well!
Architreks/Cincinnati Walks Tours will be leaving from The City Flea offering tours of OTR. The awesome fact is that you can get 50% off tickets today through a Groupon offer! Get em while they're hot! Whether you are a local or a visitor these tours are well worth it and you will quickly realize how little you know about OTR.
We are also excited about multiple other collaborations that will be built into the markets themselves. Thanks for the open arms Cincinnati!
